Community Media 2008 Grant Timeline
February 2008 to February 2009

Attendance and Timeline Requirements:

• Feb. 2008 to Feb. 2009: All Community Media Grant activity takes place.
• 3rd week of Jan 2008 at MNN from 7-9pm (check with your grant facilitator for the exact date) : An orientation for your organization’s Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator is the individual who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and oversight of the project. It is important that this individual works from the location where grant activities will take place.
• Thursday, January 24th 2008 at MNN: First payment distributed at Project Coordinator orientation.
• Monday, July 14th: Mid-grants reports due. Organizations that do not submit a mid-grant report, and/or have not performed as required may have the equipment loan revoked and second payment suspended.
• Thursday,August 14th @ 6:30pm: A mid-grant screening/event for project participants will take place. Second payments distributed to qualified organizations at that time
• Monday, January 26th 2009- Final reports due.
• Mid-January 2009 (TBA): Closing grants event/celebration.
• Other events/seminars/workshops will be scheduled.
