MNN's Community Outreach & Media Department has joined the Media Action Grassroots Network! The Media Action Grassroots Network, or MAG-Net, is a national movement-building network of regional social justice organizations working together to build a powerful and collaborative movement for media justice and communication rights. The leadership team includes the following organizations: The Center for Media Justice, the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center, the Texas Media Empowerment Project, Reclaim the Media and Manhattan Neighborhood Network. Locally, MNN's Community Media Department will work with other community based organizations and media activists to build a regional MAG-Net hub that will advance the long term mission and vision for media justice in our communities."
